sirius and I were going to james and lily's place to pick up the things they had bought for harry before. we took a portkey before we left and I had it in my pocket. we checked the wards when we got there but I guess they had put up new ones after they took james. death eaters came and grabbed us both and side-apparated us against our will to some large field with a hill where I guess so no one could find us. I don't know who they were. they had masks on. we fought and we didn't win and they left us both for-

I lost a lot of blood and I blacked out after they left. they snapped sirius' wand and mine was lost and I guess the portkey had fallen out during the fight at some point.

when I woke up sirius was      he left m was gone before I could find my wand.
